This approach positions his practice on a plate between\ndesign and art, where the act of assembly becomes an authentic language of expression. Malouin himself speaks of “Scrapyard Works,” a creative method that\nliterally begins in a scrapyard. There, the designer selects fragments of formal proposals. From these studies, one configuration was chosen to form\nthe basis for the development of the final product. Color is the second leitmotif of the Vite collection. The coffee maker is offered in a palette of\ngreen, brick red, and gray; the chromatic variations come from research conducted in the Alessi workshop, where the shades of machines, tools, and\nother elements of the factory environment were sampled and transformed into a sophisticated color system.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eDedicated to those who appreciate bold, contemporary design that combines functionality and originality in everyday objects. Contrasting with the color of the reservoir,\nthe natural aluminum of the boiler further emphasizes this symbolic value. An object with a strong mechanical identity, yet almost ironic in\nreference to the rigidity of the industrial world.
