Vase- PROUST

In 1992, in the design of 100% makeup, coordinated by Alessandro Mendini, 100 representatives from various artistic and creative disciplines participated, invited to design decorations for vases designed by Mendini himself.
The Proust vase perfectly complements this collection, giving us an unusual interpretation of the famous decoration inspired by the French writer and
his places, where Mendini felt a connection between the writer and the Parisian pointillists.

It is an object that balances on the border between art and design and is dedicated to
collectors with a passion for unique objects and eternal enthusiasts of Alessandro Mendini's work.

It consists of a form closed at the top with a conical lid. Made of white porcelain. The form is decorated with indelible decals
applied by firing. The lid and base are decorated with pure gold applied by hand, fired, and cold-painted after firing.

Produced in a limited edition of 999 copies, it is an object of desire for those who want to create their own private Design Gallery.
Like a painting, a sculpture, a work of art, or a poem.
Each piece differs from the others, as the high temperatures to which porcelain is subjected at various stages of production can lead to slight differences in the shape or pigmentation of the decals.

USE AND MAINTENANCE
-A soft, damp cloth is recommended for cleaning this product.
-Avoid using abrasive cloths or detergents that could damage the surface finish of the vase, and in particular the gold decorations. Vase with lid made of decorated porcelain and gold.
