With Slow Coffee by Keiji Takeuchi, Alessi offers a new perspective on the methods of preparing this beverage. The design develops two main themes. On the one hand, gesture and ritual: preparing coffee, from fresh beans to slow brewing, means transforming a daily routine into a unique experience, where time and care are devoted to oneself and others. On the other hand, preserving the organoleptic properties of coffee, which, freshly ground, retains the intensity of its aroma and allows one to enjoy a fresh product. In fact, filtered coffee is increasingly popular among connoisseurs, as the longer brewing method allows for a more intense and refined taste experience.
