A self-portrait designed by Alessandro Mendini in 2003. This object-creation, undergoing continuous transformation, is capable of giving life to an extraordinary series of characters: in 2021, the Alessandro M. corkscrew returns in a new chromatic range, created by its author.

for those who wish to uncork exquisite wine with a tool that combines functionality and emotion.

SUSTAINABILITY AND SAFETY
I am familiar with this zinc-based alloy, which does not release any polluting substances into the environment during the production process.
The low melting point of the alloy also allows for significant energy savings, helping to limit the exploitation of natural resources
in subsequent stages of production.
Steel and nylon parts can be easily disassembled, allowing for material recycling.

USAGE AND MAINTENANCE
*Place the corkscrew on the neck of the bottle and turn the corkscrew head clockwise until the cork is completely removed from the bottle. Remove the cork from the steel spiral by turning the head counter-clockwise.
*Use a damp cloth or sponge with a non-abrasive detergent. Do not wash in the dishwasher.
